A journey of survival to community advocacy.

Heyo! A few things about me before we get to the juicy details…You can currently find me right in the heart of Sacramento at The Plum Organic Beauty Spa. I do life with my incredible partner who so gracefully attends all of the funerals & rebirths of my evolution along side 2 weird ass wiener dogs.

I spent 10+ years in community resourcing, mental health and family advocacy throughout the greater Sacramento area & Los Angeles County.  Inevitably dedicating myself to various mediums of healing & allyship, with an emphasis on trauma informed care.

At age 20, I began the tireless fight for joy after CPTSD had made it’s known residency in my bones. Foster Goodness was created out of the experiences, passions, heartache, and hope of that journey as I grew closer to myself and the nature around me. * Enter: Kitchen Witch Era * I began wild crafting with the herbs that grew in my front yard and with what I could find in my spice cabinet. Making salves, balms, cleansers, and perfecting them until I truly saw a shift in my skin and felt a shift in my spirit. This grew to be 6 years of Foster Goodness being a product brand for holistic skin care. When I felt it was time to evolve, I knew esthetics was the next jump. Creating an experience for people where they could safely meet with themselves and plants could help along the way was what I dreamed of. After becoming a Licensed Esthetician, there has been much to unlearn and explore, but what I still know is that this is where I belong. In a holistic based space, kitchen witching, and exploring healing with my community.

Cassie was super warm and welcoming. I immediately felt at ease when I stepped into the studio. The facial was spectacular, I immediately told all of my friends to book with her! I’ve had facials before, but nothing compared to this one, it felt like so much more than a facial, it felt like an energy transfer. I came to Cassie that day feeling drained, mentally and physically, my skin felt drained as well. By the end of the facial I felt re-ignited, re-charged! I have extremely sensitive skin and this cleanser has been incredibly gentle while still having great cleansing power. The scent is also very neutral yet softly sweet, which I love because I like using different scents/oils so it gives me the perfect, fresh base.
